The TESDA Provincial Training Center-Zamboanga Sibugay provides a wide range of training programs and services to help individuals acquire the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen field. The center is dedicated to providing high-quality training and support to help individuals achieve their goals.
TRAINING PROGRAMS OFFERED
The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I consists of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor must achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of learners to develop competencies to performing a particular trade or technical work.
This program aims to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively train and educate others. Topics covered include instructional design, teaching techniques, and assessment methods.
The ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to produce organic farm products such as chicken and vegetables including producing of organic supplements such as fertilizer, concoctions and extracts. It has two (2) elective competencies which are on raising organic hogs and raising organic small ruminants.
This program is designed to teach participants about sustainable and environmentally-friendly farming practices. Topics covered include soil management, crop rotation, and natural pest control.
The AGRICULTURAL CROPS PRODUCTION NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to produce various agricultural crops which include performing nursery operations, planting, caring and maintaining of crops and carrying-out harvest and postharvest operations.
This program focuses on the cultivation and management of various crops. Topics covered include seed selection, planting, and harvesting techniques, as well as pest and disease control.
The MASONRY NC I qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve that will enable him/her to prepare masonry materials, tools and equipment and perform basic masonry works.
The MASONRY NC II qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve that will enable to lay concrete hollow block for structure and plaster wall surfaces.
This program teaches participants the skills needed to construct and repair walls, foundations, and other structures using brick, concrete, and other materials.
The Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and systems where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts in residential houses/buildings.
This program covers the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Topics include wiring, circuit analysis, and safety procedures.
The MOTORCYCLE/SMALL ENGINE SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to install and service parts of motorcycle/small engine and to perform periodic maintenance. Servicing includes inspecting, diagnosing, cleaning and overhauling of mechanical and electrical parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of the unit.
This program covers the maintenance and repair of motorcycles, scooters, and other small engine vehicles. Topics include engine overhaul, electrical systems, and brake systems.
The DRIVING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to operate light motor vehicles classified under LTO Restriction code 1 and 2; transport passengers and loads over specified routes to local or district location and collect fare duly authorized by the relevant government agency; comply with local traffic rules and regulations and perform minor vehicle repairs and other minor servicing.
This program provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely and legally. Topics covered include traffic laws, defensive driving, and vehicle maintenance.
